CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT:

How long can we cancel free of charge?

for stays June-November: until 7 days before arrival
for stays December-April: until 30 days before arrival
Do we have to pay a deposit to fix the booking?

yes, 50% of the stay by credit card or bank transfer

What types of payment do you accept?

Cash, EC card, Mastercard, Visa, American Express

 

RESTAURANT

What does the half board include?

Our half board includes a generous breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 10.00 a.m. and a varied 4-course dinner menu between 6.45 and 8.30 p.m. (summer)/9.00 p.m. (winter).

What does the half board cost?

Half board costs 50 CHF per person per evening and can be booked as a package for the entire stay from 2 nights.

If you have not booked half board, you can order the menu of the day in the evening for 59 CHF.

In winter the half board is bookable from Tuesday to Saturday. Sunday and Monday the restaurant is closed and in the two days we offer only with breakfast.

What if I have allergies or intolerances?

Please inform us when booking and we will be happy to accommodate special requests (vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free or certain food allergies).

Can I eat spontaneously in the restaurant?

The restaurant is open daily in summer with hot food from 18.45 20.30. You can choose from the daily 4-course menu for CHF 59 and a small à la carte menu. In the afternoon we also offer a snack menu.

In winter, the restaurant is open from Tuesday to and including Saturday evening with warm cuisine from 18.45 to 21.00.
You also have the choice of the daily 4-course menu for CHF 69 and a selection from the à la carte menu - let us know and we will be happy to reserve you a table for the evening.

What are your check in / check out times?

Check in from 3 p.m., check out until 10:30 a.m.

Is there the possibility of a late check in?

Yes, the reception is open until 9.30 p.m., after this time, please let us know, so that we can prepare a self-check-in.

Is there the possibility of a late check out?

If our availabilities allow it, you are welcome to check out later for an extra charge.

Can I leave my luggage with you if I arrive earlier or leave later?

Yes, you can leave your luggage at the reception free of charge.

How do I get to Zermatt by car?

Zermatt is a car-free place. You have to park your car in the suburb of Täsch. You can then reach Zermatt by shuttle train or by car cab, which has permission to drive to the entrance of Zermatt. Parking and cab service providers can be found at https://www.zermatt.ch/shopping/Parkplaetze-Taesch.

IS THERE TRANSPORT FROM ZERMATT TRAIN STATION TO THE HOTEL?

With the hotel electric vehicle:

for arrival and departure we offer a free transfer with our electric vehicle from Zermatt train station to the hotel between 8am and 7pm. Please let us know as soon as you board the train in Täsch so that we have time to organize the transfer. We ask for your understanding that there might be waiting times, especially on days with a lot of arrivals and departures.

DO YOU ALSO DRIVE ME DURING THE STAY?

Unfortunately, this is not possible, but there are other options:

By public electric cab:

If you arrive later than 7pm or need transportation during your stay, you can order a public cab. Here is a cab list.

by public bus:

at the train station Zermatt you will find a bus stop for the Winkelmatten bus (red line).

go to the station Wichje
from there cross the bridge
after 100m you will see a sign "Hotel Hemizeus" - there you turn right and immediately right again, after about 30m you will reach the hotel

on foot:

You walk up Bahnhofstrasse to the church and turn left in front of the church
You go straight on over the church bridge and then turn right
You are now in Schluhmattenstrasse and walk up this street for about 1.1 km until you reach another bridge (you will also pass the valley station of the gondola lift on the way)
cross this bridge to the right
after 100m you will see a sign "Hotel Hemizeus" - there you turn right and immediately right again, after about 30m you will reach the hotel



IS THERE A SKI-IN AND SKI-OUT POSSIBILITY?

if the snow conditions are good, it is possible to ski down right in front of the hotel and ski-in is also possible via the Furri intermediate piste Riffelberg-Zermatt.

HOW DO I GET TO THE SKI STATION IF SKI-OUT IS NOT POSSIBLE?

There is a ski bus only 300m away that you can use for free to all ski stations. We can also order a public cab for you, this is chargeable and can cost up to CHF 25.00 per trip.



WHERE CAN I RENT SKI/SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT?

Directly at the valley station of the gondola lift there is the sports store Dorsaz Intersport, which we recommend; https://www.dorsaz-sport.ch/en/



CAN I BRING MY PET?

yes, you are welcome to bring your pet (dog and cat), we charge 15 CHF per day.



CAN YOU ORGANIZE SOMETHING FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION?

We will be happy to organize something for you for a birthday, wedding anniversary, etc:

  • decorate the table/room
  • order a cake (important: order the day before) (extra charge)
  • create a voucher for e.g. a massage (extra charge)
  • we can provide flowers (extra charge)
  • a bottle of wine/Prosecco/Champagne (extra charge)
